I'm working on the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for the Best Buy contact center.

I was a BSA on the Recommendations team building experiences that help customers find the right product.Previously I worked on the Voice Assistants team for the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant platforms. We built the Best Buy Alexa Skill and Google Action as well as the Lively Skill for the Jitterbug flip phone.

- Gathered functional requirements through interviews, online research, and analysis of existing system and database structure for digital advertising operations web-based software system.- Collaborated with analysts, engineers, and project managers to design software components for a variety of different business use cases for advertising trafficking, creative design, and billing.- Documented requirements in a variety of formats including text, tables, diagrams, and data mapping.- Designed and created screen mockups to match the desired functionality of the back-end system.- Led release planning and determined project timelines while being flexible and adapting to changes due to technical issues, evolving requirements, and resource constraints.- Performed QA testing to ensure requirements were met and functionality was consistent.

- Used Agile methodology to create and maintain dozens of public facing web sites for news media companies (site examples: http://www.channel3000.com/, http://www.clickondetroit.com/, and http://www.wcvb.com/).- Integrated a variety of web components and plug-ins such as Google Analytics; Dart for Publishers ad serving; Facebook, Twitter, and other social media; and CoreMedia content management system.- Applied knowledge of Kaltura video player integration while working with engineers and product managers to define business cases for the various site implementations.- Provided daily support of sites by investigating and trouble-shooting issues.- Managed administrative functions in a team lead role. - Developed a highly configurable, web-based lease origination workflow system in a team setting. It is the industry-leading credit application system used by the majority of the premier U.S. banks.- Specialized in user interface programming. Designed screens and icons. Programmed user interfaces for multi-lingual, multi-locale, and multi-currency data entry and display.- Collaborated with developers and business analysts to design enhancements considering customer requirements, scope, performance, and usability. Used use-case analysis.- Planned out relational database tables and fields and wrote SQL queries.- Regularly performed design, coding, and trouble-shooting for all system areas: web server, application server, database, and administrative applications.- Managed projects by determining estimates, creating design specifications, providing technical expertise, and coordinating tasks among team members locally and remotely.- Coded and tested complex projects creating automated tests as part of a test-driven development environment.
