Critically analyzes the financial aspects of the business, makes management aware of trends or items affecting the business. Makes recommendations for improvements and works with other departments to help them understand financial information. Reviews processes for improvements in all areas.Works with IT to resolve issues. Oversees fuel tax reporting. Revises process of collecting and submitting information and makes recommendations for improvements and purchase of bulk fuel. Supervises and audits Comdata driver fuel purchases and problem solves any issues related to Comdata and pricing at bulk fuel locations. Oversees payroll function ensuring that payrolls are prepared accurately & timely and payroll tax and employee benefit deductions etc. are remitted timely and accurately. Review and preparation role in tax returns (income, payroll, highway). Oversees Treasury operations to ensure adequacy of cash to cover operations, that cash is invested to earn its best return, and that all accounts are reconciled timely. Prepares all loan documents for revenue equipment and oversees lien entry process. Supervise accounts payable reviewing all payments for accuracy, duplicate pays and fraud.Oversees all registrations, licensing, titling, permits and toll transponders for revenue equipment to ensure accurate, timely and complete filings, and detailed records are maintained. Maintains audits and develops procedures related to revenue equipment permits, license and titles. Oversees company store daily functions.Serves as corporate secretary maintaing all records and board minutes.
