I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science at Capilano University. Throughout my degree, I have expanded my knowledge of the complex relationship between physical health and daily function. As a Kinesiology student, I have gained an insightful understanding of human movement, sports psychology, injuries and rehabilitation, and fundamental and specialized motor skills. Through these various aspects of my degree, I am thrilled to provide my assets and expertise in occupational therapy.Following graduation from Capilano University, I plan to continue my education to obtain a master’s degree in occupational therapy, where I aspire to specialize in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Throughout my education and volunteer experiences, I have worked closely with children to help them evolve their diverse skill sets in and outside sports. These experiences have provided me with opportunities to incorporate the holistic approaches of occupational therapy to strengthen one’s independence and overall health. Motivated by my passion to make a difference, I am keen to contribute my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to assist various individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
