Diversity in the Business of Sport (DiBS, for short) was born out of the collective desire of a group of sports business professionals to help increase diversity in the industry they love.Being from diverse backgrounds ourselves, we asked how we could do something tangible to help increase industry representation from black, Asian and other underrepresented minority groups.We formed DiBS in late 2020 as a not-for-profit vehicle to help us further these aims.Since inception, DiBS has built – and continues to build and empower – a community of likeminded sports business professionals from diverse backgrounds, who are committed to being part of, and sustaining, a thriving and diverse sports business industry.

Football Marketing Asia (FMA) is the exclusive commercial partner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the rights cycles 2021-2024 and 2025-2028 commercialising and marketing premier competitions including the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup final round, AFC Asian Cup, AFC Champions League, AFC Women’s Asian Cup, AFC Cup and age group competitions.

DDMC Fortis is the exclusive commercial partner for the Asian Football Confederation’s competitions from 2021 - 2028. This covers all rights and services for all AFC National Team and Club competitions, beginning in 2020 with Round 3 of the Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Responsibilities at Endeavor Streaming (previously known as NeuLion) are as mentioned below under NeuLion.

- Responsible for all business development across APAC region for sport and general entertainment opportunities- Map out the strategy for pan-APAC introduction of NeuLion Digital platform into the market- R&D for individual markets and identify target prospects across sports federations, telcos, broadcasters, content owners and publishers including e-gaming- Work closely with pre-sales engineers when in dialogue with prospects and create targeted sales literature- Responsible for entire pitch process from prospecting through to creating price plan and final proposal- Define marketing strategy and oversee development across the region, targeting key events and international conferences - Provide US & UK team with insight into APAC market- Regular travel across APAC territories for new business, as well as US and UK for internal meetings - Build a team in Singapore to support APAC growth

Yakatak develops and operates innovative consumer mobile services underpinned by global messaging technology. Yakatak was an inaugural member of the BBC Worldwide Labs program, based at the BBC Media Centre in London.Responsible for facilitating the pan-Asian growth & monetisation of Yakatak through the development of partnerships with telecommunications companies, broadcasters, rights holders, brands and other relevant parties.

Key Achievements: • Oversaw 7 in-house broadcast channels and 15 externally-produced broadcast channels• Devised and oversaw conversion and relocation of existing 7 SD destination channels into an HD single-brand 5-channel offering • Re-launched SuperSports Arena channel, un-encrypting it for additional reach to non-StarHub subscribers for increased coverage and production of local sport, including the introduction of the LionsXII and Malaysia Super League football and the ASEAN Basketball League• Acquired Premier League radio rights to create the “Red Card Sports Radio” internet radio channel and app made available on CATV, OTT and IPTV to counter SingTel’s 2013/14 – 2015/16 Premier League package• Responsible for the creation and implementation of www.sportsarena.com.sg, StarHub’s first sports portal that provided comprehensive editorial/video coverage of key sports properties and was a promotional marketing tool for all StarHub sports properties and initiatives. This then evolved into the TV Buddy companion app that consolidates all StarHub content.• Oversaw social media presence across Facebook and Twitter, creating and utilising exclusive capsule content and user-generated content around a show, for the mobile audience • Oversaw contract negotiations for the return of the Fox Sports network (formerly ESPN Star Sports) onto the platform• Negotiated the UEFA Euro 2012 contract to be inclusive of Media Development Authority cross- carriage regulations for the first time in Singapore• Negotiated and oversaw a co-production with Setanta Australia of the UEFA Euro 2012 live studio coverage, produced by Setanta Ireland
