I am also the go to contact for production regarding legal, employment, clearance, music, and other production related questions that I may answer or coordinate with the right departments within Sony to find the answers. This position allows me to focus on supervising and big picture production issues while still doing hands on drafting and negotiating on deals.

This includes the drafting and negotiation of contracts in connection with animated and hybrid motion pictures and animated series development, production and distribution, including term and employee agreements for artists, option purchase agreements, talent agreements, production services agreements, and international deals for artists.In addition, I provide legal counsel and advice in connection with chain of title documents, analysis of rights and obligations, intellectual property issues, labor and employment concerns, compliance and other matters. Working at Sony, we work with the highest level of talent, including networking and developing professional relationships with internal and outside business affairs, creative, and production executives and attorneys to provide general counsel and advice on legal matters.

Attorney for Hasbro Studios and Allspark Pictures, the entertainment branch of Hasbro, Inc., a global play and entertainment company. I am a transactional production attorney for animated and live action TV and film. I focus on negotiation and drafting above the line and below the line agreements, as well as production services agreements, licenses to third parties, music agreements, and rights agreements. In addition, my daily activities can include the overseeing of script and design clearances, supervising the paralegal and legal assistant, reviewing marketing materials, IP rights review, and union issues for SAG/AFTRA, WGA, I.A.T.S.E. 700 Editor Guild, UBCP, and I.A.T.S.E. 839 Animation Guild. Being the liaison with outside counsel, partners, and third parties also gives me a strong network in the legal entertainment industry. As only one of two attorneys at Hasbro Studios, a small branch of the larger company, I also handle some business and legal questions not related to production, such as employment, leases, trademarks, brand rights, CARU issues, and corporate structure.

In charge of day to day customary in-house legal duties such as answering questions and approving projects from the other departments. After returning as a LLM student, I became Prof. Michael Epsteins research assistant again. The position includes researching and reviewing international entertainment media cases. In addition, I draft, edit, and create powerpoint presentations for Professor Epstein's international comparative media course.

Worked for Jody Zucker and five other attorneys and assisted in the revising and redlining of agreements. Researched legal issues and summarized relevant cases related to copyright, employment disputes, and contract claims. Reviewed and analyzed contracts for legal claims against the company. Performed title clearance for upcoming shows.

Reviewed and analyzed master recording and synchronization music license agreements related to motion analyzing the grant of new technology rights.

Worked for Philip Lyon and three other attorneys and researched legal issues and summarizing relevant cases related to copyright, trademark, and state employment law. Drafted motions and petitions to the court for employment discrimination and child support payment amendments. Aided with depositions and management of clients.
