Experience Institute creates experiential learning programs for individuals, teams, companies, and universities. I help facilitate workshops on Innovation, Leadership, Resilience and Storytelling on current topics like Leading Hybrid Work and Creative Problem Solving.

Designed and ran programs for neighborhood "Leads" across the country who volunteer for their neighborhoods to help with community moderation and creating welcoming, inclusive environments. This looked like: piloting new programs; hosting meetups and fireside chats with inspiring organizers; partnering to create educational resources like "How to moderate" and "Inclusive Moderation course; sending out newsletters and timely emails; and helping moderate the community forum.

Experience Lab is a 6-month experience-based certificate program that helps recent college graduates develop skills and build a professional portfolio of work to transition into high-demand fields. Our programs combine online and in-person learning with a 3-month supported field experience and job search support for their next steps. The in-person meetup provides an opportunity for all the students in the cohort to work together on projects, build community, and prepare for their field experiences. I am responsible for facilitating a space that welcomes all participants, sets a tone of challenge and support. From an operational standpoint, I make sure the meetup runs smoothly, providing a top-notch user experience for students and other facilitators. Our three, day-long summits:- served over 100 attendees- supported 10 coaches and 10 solopreneur vendors- featured all original workshop content and playbooks for a 3 hour workshop on Career Design informed by industry best practices and research data- boasted a curated outside speaker list- attracted sponsorship from companies like The Muse, Fiverr, GT Kombucha, Cafe Grumpy, Brooklyn Brewery. Each time we incorporated the feedback of our past attendees to improve and each time we were able to increase the ticket price and secure nicer venues. The positive testimonials from attendees made it clear that we had fulfilled a real need for people looking to make the oftentimes intimidating leap into self-employment. I led the first translation project at Kickstarter - managing a team of external and internal consultants and bilingual colleagues to translate the website and support documentation into French, German and Spanish.This required researching translation services, designing the process to ensure consistent translations post-launch, conducting a site wide QA before launch, and training 10 language support specialists for ongoing customer service in French, German and Spanish.
