In 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began offering IT infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services, now known as cloud computing. One of the key benefits of cloud computing is the opportunity to replace upfront capital infrastructure expenses with low variable costs that scale with your business. With the cloud, businesses no longer need to plan for and procure servers and other IT infrastructure weeks or months in advance. Instead, they can instantly spin up hundreds or thousands of servers in minutes and deliver results faster. My positions at Amazon and AWS: While at AWS, my role as Senior HR Client Lead where I supported a team of recruiting sourcers and partnered with HR leadership in recruiting HR managers. As part of proactive planning, I managed strategies to grow a network of HR leadership professionals. I'm proud to have created interview training videos, started an interview shadow program for HR, supported the new HR Intern program, and served as a consultant to my team. While at AmazonPrime, my role as Recruiting Manager, I managed a recruiting team and proactively created new projects to drive innovation to support new managers within 7 divisions.
