We contribute to the central Alabama arts ecosystem with programs emphasizing expanded art practices such as performance, installation, and video art.As a neighbor I share art and music experiences from my home and neighborhood.Engaged with art, culture, and technology in Alabama, I enjoy cross-sector connections and am eager for conversations about the way creative practices interact with place-making, ecology, technology (especially the emergence of AI), and free thought. I believe that art can be entertaining or beautiful, but that it can also reach beyond mere entertainment to challenge and uplift our culture.

Artist
I direct creative projects via Yes Media.Productions include video, installation art, painting, sculpture, & more. Some reflections:America on TV is really something else. Half the time, I want to believe what I see.My work is a practice of mis/believing. I make images and experiences that retell American narratives from TV, film, literature, art, and music. These media can be great fun, but they are also powerful mythmakers and agents of bias. Repeating and remixing these stories helps reveal their patterns and dis/harmonies. Not everything ages well. Let’s talk about it.There is an art to good conversation, after all. Alongside my media remixes, my art socializes through interactive projects that center personal and community storytelling amidst the noise of popular media. The truth is out there on our front porches, practice fields, and hiking trails. I want to see what I believe.
