•Act as a subject matter expert in the administration and support for YYC’s human capital management software that includes: update to employee records, troubleshooting issues, training of staff on utilization, supporting new module implementation and coordination of yearly employee and payroll processes as they impact the system.•Support the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator in the administration and processing of biweekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees. •As a member of Shared Services, build effective relationships with stakeholders and be the first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries for a broad range of HR programs.•Assist HR Business Partners with the recruitment process: scheduling of interviews, pre-screening, pre-employment screening, and drafting of employment contract letters.•Create and analyse statistical and managerial reports from the HCM system •Participate in the evaluation and rating of new unionized roles as part of the Job Evaluation Committee•Organize and conduct HR orientation and total rewards orientation for new hires.•Assist with the update and maintenance of the HR intranet site (YYC Hub: Crew Resources)•Coordinate requests and tracking of biennial medical exams and renewal of drivers abstracts for safety sensitive positions. •Partner and collaborate with the People and Engagement Team to develop programs and initiatives that best align with the Company’s objectives and People and Engagement strategy.
