My duties were to embody a representation of SOAS, University of London through telephone personality and marketing skills. By contacting international sponsors and alumni, I strengthened ties and created more dialogue between SOAS and the Alumni & Friends organization. My team and I promoted SOAS’ accomplishments, events and were involved in fundraising for SOAS scholarships and hardship funds for current students in need of financial aid. We raised £95,000 for scholarships which was 25% more than was achieved in the previous years, and all the funds are to be invested into students with potential, financial need and for student projects to enhance student experience on campus.
