WORTHY is a self-care studio in Berkeley, CA. We make it possible for busy people to restore, recover, and optimize their bodies and minds by creating stress resilience in the body. Our services include infrared saunas, red light therapy, guided cold-plunging, NuCalm meditation, BallancerPro lymphatic drainage massage, and Cryoskin body sculpting. Guests can enjoy our services through packages, memberships, and a la carte bookings. We believe everyone is WORTHY of wellness, that's why we also started WORTHY Wellness Initiative, a 501(c)3 non-profit. Through our non-profit, we are able to provide our services to folks who may otherwise not be able to access them. KitchenMuse is a mobile application that helps users make healthier choices at the grocery store with personalized recommendations based on tastes and health profile. Beautiful recipes, grocery lists, and guided shopping help ensure inspiration and efficiency. We take the guesswork out of each user's wellness shopping experience.

- Acted as a consultant to various clinicians with neurological and orthopedic patients. Meliza managed 6 area clinics and the Kitwe Central Hospital for the UCSF Safe Motherhood project.The project focused on testing a first aid intervention called the non-pneumatic anti-shock garment (NASG) as a life saving tool in the event of postpartum hemorrhaging. ----Management included ensuring that all protocols were adhered to for patient safety, ensuring that the hospital and all clinics were fully stocked with study supplies, held training sessions to train midwives and nurses on how and when to use the garment, maintained all protocol forms and administered payments to study participants (midwives and nurses). Meliza developed and implemented a peer-training program for sustainability called the Peer Advisor Program.
