I am currently working on a range of campaigns in the following roles: copywriting, rebranding, conceptualizing event and retail space, and assisting with copywriting for social media.

As a small business owner, I do it all.Create all copywriting for social media and web content. Synthesize research into creative content via painting and writing.Produce and manage all marketing, advertising, and sales.Organize and present content for exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.Secure funding through grant writing, proposals, and fundraising.

As the Editorial Assistant I wore many hats during my time there.I managed press releases, marketing, social media, and web content.I Researched, edited, and transcribed content for current projects.I Corresponded with reviewers, foundations, and creatives to meet deadlines.I Managed and coordinated, sales, inventory, book fairs, and events.

I taught Drawing II to sophomores virtually until we went hybrid in the spring. Focusing on building foundational drawing skills we dove into the language of representation. I edited creative content for college portfolio reviews and end of year exhibition.I adapted and synthesized content for virtual/hybrid learning via presentations. I created, led, and assessed virtual learning through creative multi-unit projects.

As a Teaching Artist, I taught a range of middle school and high school art classes focusing primarily on painting and drawing. In addition to teaching, I was also the Teaching Artist Liasion working with the College and Careers department, mentoring our teen interns. I collaboratively designed and implemented anti-racist arts curriculum.I managed multi-project portfolios and executed end of term exhibitions.I mentored teaching assistants and interns in classroom management and content creation.

I taught Intro to Painting, a class focused on providing students with the technical and conceptual foundations of painting. I taught freshmen through seniors, all with different majors.I synthesized abstract content for Intro to Painting for non-majors through series of lectures, presentations, and writing assignments.I created, led, and assessed supplemental writing projects. I managed content creation of student portfolios.

I worked primarily on helping design and support the Multiple Visit Program—a program designed to bring Chicago elementary students to the MCA with the intent of teaching visual literacy. In addition to this, I also helped manage other educational events and programs.

I taught Art Appreciation, a lecture-based art history class, and 2D Design.

I taught a summer section of Philosophy of Aesthetics.

I taught Drawing Foundations, Figure Drawing, and Intro to Painting.
