A classically trained CPA, I bring a creative and strategic approach to solving financial challenges from revenue recognition, equity accounting, raising capital and driving scale through system implementations and enhancements. I worked 9+ years in public accounting and have 20+ years of experience working with private companies in roles including controller, VP of finance and CFO. During my final years in public accounting, after a successful career working with small to mid sized technology companies, I worked with financial investors in evaluating acquisition candidates, and assisted these investors with due diligence and financing. I left PwC as a Director within their Transaction Services Group. As VP Finance/Corporate Controller, I assisted in the filing of Suppliermarket.com's S-1 filing, which was one of the fastest Form S-1 filings. Suppliermarket.com was sold to Ariba (formerly NASDAQ: ARBA)As CFO of Eze Castle Software, I worked with a team to grow and scale the business over a four-year period vastly improving EBITDA and top-line growth. Eze Castle was sold to Bank of New York (formerly NYSE: BNY). As Controller of the Massachusetts Port Authority (“Massport”), a quasi, state-owned transportation and real estate services organization, I supervised a large accounting & financial reporting team and experienced how large organizations operate. As CFO at CashStar, I worked with the Co-Founders and CEO(s) to grow and scale the business over a six-year period of significant growth in clients, revenue, transactions, people, systems, and business/product offerings. While at CashStar, I oversaw finance, treasury, human resources, IT, legal, customer care, risk operations and administration. As CFO of Flywire, a leading provider of international payment solutions connecting businesses and consumers on six continents, I managed the finance & treasury functions overseeing transaction flows in the billions.
