He is actively involved in entrepreneurial activities including a Near South Side Chamber of Commerce and helping to organize progressive businesses and homeowners to make a difference in their own neighborhood. Mell has 20 years of professional recruitment and entrepreneurial franchise experiences while placing over 200 professionals with Apple Computer, Tata Consulting Services, IBM/Lotus, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, Carlson Technologies, SBC-Ameritech and Sun MicroSystems. He has held corporate business development roles with J&J, Mobil, Coca Cola and GE early in his career.
