Worked closely with multiple VIVA clients to train them and support their data analysis needs including:1. Contacting clients and determining their processes and requirements.2. My current research interests focuses on supporting collaborative interaction and various alternatives for dynamic dashboards. This include working on design and implementation of visual analytic system that combines chart recommendation, coordinated multiple views, and manual view specification.

I worked in various research project in the field of Visual analytics as part of the Msc. program. The research included; 1. Conducting research to support exploration of geo-temporal high dimensional data. The research explored various methods to visually analyze complex high dimensional datasets. 2. Design and implement a goe-binning algorithm to visualize tweets' geo-location in Vista. A visual analytics system to support analysis of the temporally changing sentiment in Twitter stream. 3. Conducting user studies to study and evaluate the effectiveness of various visual analytics systems. 4. Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team from various universities to conduct research in visual analysis of multidimensional environmental data.

Teaching CS 215 (Web programming and database development) for CS students. The position responsibilities include preparing lectures, exams, and assignments; deliver lecturers to students; advise and guide students in problems with the material; asses students skills and knowledge as required.
