Goddess Photo ShootsDigitalgeekgirl Feb 2014 - PresentAs a former college professor, a former personal trainer, and current professional photographer: I was and am entirely shocked and saddened how many women of ALL ages I encountered in those arenas that have absolutely horrible self-esteem and cannot seem to see their beauty radiating through. So each month, I set up photo shoots for young women ages 16 and up to come get their photos taken by myself and other photographers. We volunteer our time and my mission is for us to capture the beauty we see inside of our cameras and inspire these women to believe in themselves and their beauty. Great photography is SEEING the beauty and CAPTURING it. I am not creating the beauty of that sunset or flowers, or these gorgeous goddess women. Women come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and each is like a beautiful snowflake with no two the same. I want to show women what a Goddess they truly are and encourage them to believe it and start acting like it!Additionally, I am a narrative photographer who does not use or even own photoshop.
