Team / Engineering culture - Through different stages of our dev hired people for research and product development. Led people through hard times and helped them grow, guided for career adjustments. We implemented Code reviews, Scrum practices, Tests, CI / CD, Infrastructure as a Code, Logs/Monitoring. This allowed us to do same-day releases (~1 hour) on everything except mobile apps. And avoid having manual errors that we had before automation. It also allowed us to monitor errors. find and trace problems. R&D - Led internal research on tools for mental health measurement (voice, digital phenotyping), organizing experiments and implementations into the platform. Worked closely with a leading European multi-sector R&D Center (Eurecat - https://eurecat.org) for R&D project "Therasonar" to integrate their custom built technology with our platform and allow clinical partners to run tests. Infrastructure & Security - Setting different environments for Development, Staging and production. Using Infrastructure as a code to reduce manual work and use version control for infrastructure. Using best practices for setting production load inside private networks and restricting access outside. Setting proper logging / monitoring to avoid developers going to production servers. Operational - Setting and integrating tools used by the company - Emails (Zoho, SendGrid), CRMs (Zoho, Hubspot), Analytics tools (GA, Tag Manager, HotJar), Support (airtable + integrations slack and emails). Integrating main product data into GA allowed to see analytics in a single place. Leadership - Setting metrics for the team to prioritize outcome over output, Setting procedures to document, develop, test and maintain work. Organizing 1 - 1 to align people needs / interests / motivation with company goals, help people learn & grow.
