Team / Engineering culture - Through different stages of our dev hired people for research and product development. Led people through hard times and helped them grow, guided for career adjustments. We implemented Code reviews, Scrum practices, Tests, CI / CD, Infrastructure as a Code, Logs/Monitoring. This allowed us to do same-day releases (~1 hour) on everything except mobile apps. Infrastructure & Security - Setting different environments for Development, Staging and production. Using Infrastructure as a code to reduce manual work and use version control for infrastructure. Using best practices for setting production load inside private networks and restricting access outside. Setting proper logging / monitoring to avoid developers going to production servers. Operational - Setting and integrating tools used by the company - Emails (Zoho, SendGrid), CRMs (Zoho, Hubspot), Analytics tools (GA, Tag Manager, HotJar), Support (airtable + integrations slack and emails). Integrating main product data into GA allowed to see analytics in a single place. Leadership - Setting metrics for the team to prioritize outcome over output, Setting procedures to document, develop, test and maintain work. Organizing 1 - 1 to align people needs / interests / motivation with company goals, help people learn & grow.

Engineering Culture - Implemented scrum sprints with planning and retrospective, code reviews that allowed to improve team work, increased knowledge sharing. Automated release, testing processes to avoid manual work, reduce errors and save time.Decrease Technical Dept - We identified issues lower-skilled developers, lack of code quality control and procedures for development. Management and work Automation of container terminal - was working on a solution to automate the dispatching/loading of vessels to decrease the error rate and time needed to complete work and platform to manage the process. Included problems like the "Traveling salesman problem" Internal Framework development - rebuilding tech framework to a new stack. Worked close to core development to understand how things work and with application developers to understand their needs
