Laboratory of Pascale CossartProject: Study of a new antibiotic resistance mechanism in Listeria monocytogenes.Scientific expertise: bacterial pathogens and antimicrobial resistance, molecular geneticsProject management and leadership: • Management of my 2 research projects, in collaboration with internal and external scientists (Israel). Organisation of meetings, workload coordination in accordance with timelines. Participation to 3 other research projects.• Planning, performing, and interpreting analytical methods according to good laboratory practices (pathogens handling in L2 laboratory, radioactivity safety measures). Learning of new techniques and training of lab associates. Performing documentation searches in relevant scientific literatures. • Creation/improvement of experimental methods.• Business management: acquisition/evaluation of equipment and resources. Writing of 2 funding applications.• Rapid integration within cross-functional team (25+ persons, 12+ nationalities). Scientific communication: • Publication of 5 articles and 2 reviews in top-ranked peer-reviewed journals (PNAS, Nature microbiology, see annexes). Writing, editing and creation of the figures, peer-reviewing. • Presentation of 3 seminars and 2 posters in international and departmental meetings (see annexes), exchange of ideas, improvement and defence of the project. Feedback from congresses to internal stakeholders.• Teaching and popularization for PhD students and administrative staff.Organization of scientific and social events:• Workload coordination within the organizing team.Logistic: reservation request, creation of flyers, budget management, purchase of furnitures.• Organization of "biblioforum", a weekly meeting to share within the team and discuss various relevant scientific articles
