During this time, I used my technology and M&A background to support new business integration activities for Piggly Wiggly Carolina, Davidson, AWI, Grocers Supply, White Rose, as well as other new business endeavors.Responsibilities included: Retail Systems support on C&S Mainframe and $7M project lead for implementation of NCR Power HQ platform and Retail Support, $3M project lead for Workday implementation from Lawson Payroll, employee Time and Attendance system implementations in multiple warehouses, SalesForce implementation for Customer Service, and other Web Portal and Mobile technologies. In addition, led the IT Program Office and all Project Managers within the department.

Successfully executed multiple capital projects that were aligned with three-year plan to upgrade and enhance computing environment and reduce tech debt. Converted legacy Mainframe product information management (PIM) and retail pricing solution into BRdata distributed application. Implemented PeopleSoft ERP modules for Financials and HR to replace Mainframe functionality. Developed custom solutions to enable the sunset of the other legacy mainframe applications and computing environment. Also modernized technology for Retail revenue growth, such as implementing omni-channel marketing solutions. Implemented Perpetual Inventory and Suggested Ordering system for Retail to Wholesale inventory management, created inventory valuation tools for lenders, and increased inventory turns in retail and wholesale operations. Enhanced store labor scheduling with the implementation of a labor solution tied to overall sales and predictive volumes.
