About Melody Jackson

Majority owner and president of ComSource, Melody Jackson began her career in banking and marketing before transitioning industries to head up the leading Motorola two-way radio dealer in the Detroit area.Melody and her husband Daryl founded Portable Communications, Inc., a Motorola dealership, in 1986, where she served as vice president. Portable Communications later merged with the Motorola North Metro Service Center to become ComSource, Inc. A decade later, Melody and Daryl became sole owners. Melody is proud to lead a Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified woman-owned business. A graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in business administration, Melody is passionate about community involvement and advocating for people living with disabilities. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, volunteering, and doing yoga.
