Leads all manufacturing planning and scheduling activities for the RTP Biogen Idec Manufacturing Site. Planing and scheduling includes the following areas: warehouse, dispensary and 2K & LSM manufacturing plants. In addition, position is responsible for managing the inventory control system at RTP site. Ensures the manufacturing bills of material is accurate to support proper purchases of the raw material needed for the manufacturing campaigns. Leads the excess and obsolete inventory process for the RTP Site. Analyzes inventory trends and bills of material variances to reduce the risk of excess and obsolete inventory. Has cross site collaboration with management to ensure purchasing assumptions for manufacturing campaigns are transparent and the manufacturing schedule aligns with the bulk production plan. Collaborates with Global Operations Planning to ensure the bulk production plan is feasible with the current or planned resources.
