Extensive experience and knowledge in managing people, operations, and resources; strategic planning and implementation; management training; employee/supervisor communications; and coaching in the job search and placement process from 25 years as a Professor of Management. As the owner of Wollan Performance Management (WPM), I oversee two businesses -- Tutor Doctor serving Tucson and Yuma, a franchise providing K-12, college, and test prep tutoring support with more than 25 Tucson- and Yuma-based tutors. WPM is also home to an executive and managerial coaching firm, Ascending Impact that provides individual coaching individually related to management development, specializing in early-career management activities, skills, and planning and job search coaching for interviews and resume reviews. I have 9 years of experience as a top academic administrator at a public, regional university with 8,500 students, and last served as the Associate Dean of the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology with 85 faculty, 12 undergraduate and 5 graduate degree programs, and more than 1,250 students. My experience extends to servings as MBA Director while managing academic operations of the School of Business as Associate Chair from 2013-2019.In addition, my community service includes 10 years of experience as an Officer and Executive member of three inter-related non-profit Boards responsible for 11 drug and alcohol facilities with operations of $6 million/year providing intervention, prevention, treatment, and recovery. Currently I'm the Treasurer and Board Member of Purr Project Animal Rescue of Yuma, AZ, a non-profit pet adoption, pet fostering, sterilizing local feral cat colonies, and arranging animal care through the rescue's Spay and Neutering Community Program.
