I develop and implement standardized policies and procedures for building and office standards, safety, emergency response, disaster recovery, and service delivery. I establish comprehensive facility maintenance programs, managed routine and annual safety training and wellness activities, and oversee building stacking, internal moves, and office layout to optimize space utilization. I lead initiatives for sustainable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, develop and administer budgets, and manage emergency response teams, ergonomics programs, and the incident investigation process for the world headquarters based in Memphis, TN.

I coordinated meetings for administrative staff and senior leaders, ensuring seamless planning and execution of events at Tower IV Conference Center. My responsibilities included scheduling conference rooms, resolving booking conflicts, and communicating safety information to visitors. I also coordinated with internal departments for AV, catering, room setups, signage, and materials, organized training materials for administrative staff, and developed conference center policies and procedures.

I led and managed servant leaders, the Registration Coordinator, Event Staff, and Guest Services Team in planning, executing, and implementing all events and conferences. I communicated vision and expectations, evaluated events for improvement opportunities, developed and managed budgets, and served as a liaison between the Executive Team and event personnel. Additionally, I ensured a culture of excellence, provided leadership development, and created “win” opportunities for team members.

I fostered a culture where guest services are seen as a mission/ministry, overseeing and coordinating team leaders, volunteers, and schedules. I recruited, trained, and developed volunteers, continuously improving guest services through benchmarking. Collaborating with the facility team, I ensured excellence in the physical environment and worked with team members to enhance special events. I managed aspects of facilities management at Memphis Parts Distribution, including performance, measurement, daily problem resolution, improvement projects, and long-term capacity planning. I led tactical facility improvement for a 650,000 sq. ft. warehouse with over 700 employees, managed the indirect purchasing process through Ariba, and supervised renovation and redesign projects for the front office. Additionally, I oversaw indirect purchasing project progress, secured quotes for capital purchases, and was responsible for approximately $900K in capital spending.

I maintained the Quality System Database, ensuring it was in working order and prepared for new installations. I managed the largest Cummins distributor in North America, overseeing 14 locations with $60 million in sales in 2006. My responsibilities included providing accurate and timely information on order status and engine availability, supporting Customer Support Excellence initiatives through interactions with various stakeholders, and resolving customer inquiries regarding parts availability, damaged products, and incorrect shipments.
