As the Self Love Philosopher, I’m passionate about writing books, giving speeches and building communities that empower people to be, love, and choose themselves each and every day. My goal is for every person to know that the key to making their unique contribution to the world is simply being their authentic selves. My poetry debut, Self Love Poetry: For Thinkers & Feelers, was published on October 5th, 2021 by Andrew McMeel Publishing and remains a bestseller. My latest poetry book, The Shift: Poetry for a New Perspective, was released by Andrews McMeel on September 27, 2022 and was nominated for a Goodreads Choice Award. It is designed to help us thrive in a post-pandemic world.In early 2022 I released my illustrated guided journal, The ABCs of Self Love: A Simple Guide to Loving Yourself, Reclaiming Your Worth, and Changing Your Life to make loving yourself an actionable and intuitive part of daily life (Andrews McMeel, January 4, 2022). This guided journal serves as the foundation of many of my speaking engagements, and provides a tangible resource audiences can take home after hearing me speak.I’m incredibly proud of the impact I’ve made as the founder of two companies devoted to empowering others: Write In Color, one of Los Angeles’ top career development companies for ten years, and Fred and Far, the self love movement I launched when I innovated the Self Love Pinky Ring. I also draw upon my experiences as a litigation attorney in big law and as a mom of three when sharing about how it is never too late to claim and honor your authentic self -- which is the hallmark of living a life of self love.As a trusted thought leader on women's empowerment, entrepreneurship and career development, my advice has been featured on Inc., Thrive Global, Forbes, Huffington Post, Bustle, PayScale, Motherly, Mashable, The Muse, and Fairygodboss, and I’ve spoken at the Teen Vogue Summit, Massachusetts Conference for Women, Entity Magazine Love Yourself Summit, and more.
