Melody H. Email and Phone Number
Hello, nyob zoo, ສະບາຍດີທຸກຄົນ! My name is Melody Nkaujsuab (Gow-Shoe-Wuh) Her. I am a proud Hmong-Laotion American based in Minnesota. A summa cum laude graduate of St. Catherine University, I received my bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Criminal Justice. My passions lie in education, youth development, and racial and economic justice. Outside of work and school, I dabble in local theatrical arts and music (some favorite productions include: Hamilton, Newsies, West Side Story, and In the Heights)! I am an AmeriCorp’s Promise Fellow with the Minnesota Alliance with Youth serving at Hazel Park Preparatory Academy. I will spend a year helping 30 middle schoolers get the education they need to start off strong in life. Promise Fellows work 1:1 with students who are struggling in school and helping them to foster their unique talents, honor their voices, and prepare them for graduation. Moving forward, I hope to attend Law School to receive my Juris Doctorate in criminal law to support youth in the criminal legal system. I look forward to connecting with you all, and open to speaking with anyone from all educational and career backgrounds in hopes to expand my future career aspects!
