I am passionate about utilizing entrepreneurship to tackle society's most pressing issues. For most of my career, I've built ventures in different parts of rural Asia, working alongside vulnerable communities to create sustainable, holistic jobs through start-ups. Though an entrepreneur from childhood, my vocational journey began in the CPG industry, where I gained experience in sales, marketing, market research, and retail demand analysis. My passion for being a bridge to those who lacked access to opportunity propelled me to press in to the growing social enterprise movement in the late 90's. My husband and I moved our family to N. India to tackle rural development and job creation, where we co-founded and led ventures that bridged the gap between business and impact. Currently, I serve full-time as Partner for Global Community at Praxis, an engine for redemptive entrepreneurship. I am passionate about equipping leaders both domestically and internationally to develop ecosystems that support Founders in venture-building.I am a VERY proud mother of two wonderful teenage sons, have been married to my life partner for over 25 years, and feel energized by the opportunities ahead—so much to learn!
