I presently serve as Creative Director to a team of incredibly talented designers spread across the US and Mexico. We believe the stress and pressure in-house studios experience doesn't have to exist, so we learn our clients' brands inside and out to deliver top-notch design support. My team is tight-knit and highly collaborative — we're all makers at heart and fully devoted to our craft. 2021 saw tremendous growth for the company and I transitioned to art direction after onboarding and supporting new clients such as Walmart, Amazon, and Square. I leaned into my strengths in mentorship and team building as I joined the hiring process and tested/trained new designers on the team. Some of my responsibilities included writing briefs, developing our agency capabilities, maintaining excellent client relationships, reviewing and approving work, and collaborating closely with Creative Directors, Marketing Directors, Copywriters and Project Managers to manage and grow the team. I contributed to important cultural initiatives, such as starting a weekly "Show and Tell" to keep the team informed on the amazing work we produce and to learn about one another. I led monthly "Creative Corner" meetings to discuss industry trends and provide a safe environment for designers to practice soft skills.

When the pandemic hit and the company transitioned to a fully remote workplace, I supported creative leadership in a design lead capacity, gaining art and creative direction experience as I helped guide the team during a difficult time. I took point on concepting our company rebrand and building out a system of training materials for the design team.

I was elevated to the senior level after proving I could build trust with our most important clients and was tasked with onboarding new partnerships, creating training materials for other designers, and mentoring more junior staff. I spent a significant amount of time supporting Twitter in 2019, leading event design and campaigns, and assisting with the beginnings of their global brand refresh.

I started with Designerds when we were still known as Atomic D, a full service creative agency with an emphasis on supporting our clients on a dedicated contract basis. As a graphic/visual designer I served as a creative problem-solver who was flexible, organized, and detail-oriented. I worked directly with clients such as Twitter, Samsung, Harman, Bluescape and more, sometimes onsite as a direct extension of their internal teams. My responsibilities included developing effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative such as storyboards, wireframes, final digital assets (i.e. landing pages, banners, graphics, packaging renders, resized assets, social media graphics, ads, illustrations, and simple animations).

As a graphic designer at a global agency, I had the unique opportunity to conceptualize and produce custom design solutions for new business initiatives, clients and the Allison+Partners brand. I was responsible for the design and production of an expansive range of collateral for prospects, global and national clients, and internal efforts including: mobile, web, motion graphics, video, multimedia and print.

During a complete rebrand of this eCommerce company, I was able to jump in at a most opportune time to assist in transforming Shopatron's identity. I worked on a wide range of projects, most notably creating a set of logos and icons to represent new programs being implemented at the company. I also worked heavily with typography as I created white papers and case studies for tradeshows.
