I am passionate about payments: how they work, which ones are most suitable for various businesses, the rules and regulations of each type. I have been active in the financial services industry for over 2 decades, working on projects in the USA, Canada and Europe. Prior to project based work through active consulting I built my expertise through a series of focused payment product offerings at specialized organizations. In 2014, I moved back to the Midwest and embarked on my journey with a multi-channel payment technology company, FirsTech. With FirsTech's longevity and their complete payment services, I knew that I could both grow and contribute a great deal with the experienced team. in 2009, I joined L3 Payments as COO in bringing my expertise in alternative payment options to online merchants. I quickly gained exposure to credit card processing to become well versed in the Merchant Acquiring payment channel. Prior to L3 Payments, I specialized in Remote Deposit Capture, ACH processing and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) for both Financial Institutions and merchants. Rounding out my payments experience with credit card processing and offshore alternative payment processing, I have an extensive and unique perspective regarding online payment acceptance.
