• Set up an investment company as a joint venture between Hambro Perks and DLF Venture for their investments in Education Technology;• Responsible for setting strategy, implementing plans for growth, managing investments, and developing key strategic partnerships;• Portfolio Companies include Pi-Top, Kortext, Boclips.

• Drive the joint product development of major API partners by consulting on and leading the delivery of API implementations;• Support the business development process to ensure the viability of partners’ products using the API, as well as plan and project manage the integration;• Understand partners’ product and identify integration touch points, flows, and suggestions around content/product changes that would be beneficial/required for an effective adaptive experience;• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues for partners when using the Knewton API;• Work with the partner to define the goals of the integration and develop a plan for measuring success;• Organize and coordinate cross-team communication (product, tech, data science, adaptive instruction) to outline integration and UX recommendations.

The objective of this mission was to draw a shortlist of numeracy e-learning products to complement primary elementary education in developing countries. Selection criteria were defined to classify the products. The focus was on self-paced products where the children proceed at their own speed without requiring the response of an instructor. The selected products were then distributed through tablets in schools but also independently via the Foundation's website as a mathematics complement of learning offer.The Breteau Foundation (BF) seeks to empower every child to reach his or her full potential through education. By harnessing the power of digital technology, the quality of primary education in developing countries could be improved. BF is therefore developing engaging pedagogical content as well as curating existing methods for e-learning with the aim to make them equally accessible to all. By collecting meaningful data, BF will also help educators fine-tune their teaching methods and tools.

The objective of this work was to develop a new CPD model and teaching method for school mathematics teachers.The Tizard programme for early algebra, managed by Sociality since AY2004, reintroduced the Cuisenaire-Gattegno (Cui) approach to a network of 10 English schools. The approach has been shown to be superior to a traditional approach that teaches arithmetic before algebra in extensive controlled trials of more than 4 terms. The programme led to whole school adoption at Stockland Primary, a 1-form entry school in Devon, in 2007. Stockland has since shown a pattern of continuous improvement in its mathematics results at KS2. Tizard was part funded by the DfES and DTI to develop software tools, formative assessment tests (Tizard tests), mathematical notations and processes for collaboration at a distance between mathematicians and teachers. In AY2012-14, in a project funded by the Sutton Trust, Sociality brought together a two form entry primary school, Bursted Wood and a secondary school, Honywood Community Science School to create and validate an outline school mathematics curriculum that integrates the Cui resources with the new English National Curriculum.

• Developed a one-dimensional time-domain finite element model of nonlinear wave propagation for NDE and coded it in Matlab;• Carried out experiments to quantify nonlinearities generated within materials as well as those generated by other sources such as instrumentation;• Commissioned to develop a software designed to show the relationship between the signal and system response in pulsed systems such as sonar, radar and ultrasonic NDE;• Carried out a literature review on the use of chaos in structural health monitoring.
