MOMSnext is a support group for mothers of school aged children from kindergarten to high school which meets every second and fourth Tuesday evening for two hours. Work with a team partner to communicate with the community about MOMSnext meetings through pennysaver ads, signs, posted fliers and social media.

Organized a routine schedule for toddlers participation during 3 weekly services which included play time, Bible story time, song time, creative activities, and clean up. Scheduled volunteers on a monthly rotation routine. Texted reminders to volunteers. Ordered needed materials for activities. Communicated with support staff as needed.

1998 to 2003 Group Coordinator - Built a steering team: MOPPETS, Finance, Hospitality, Discussion Groups, Creative Activities, Mentors, and Publicity Team Leaders. Ministered to 20 to 30 mothers of preschoolers through bi-monthly meetings. Conducted team meetings. Dispersed annual evaluations to solicit feedback from mothers. Communicated with the congregation. Connected steering team with MOPS International training opportunities. 2002 to 2003 - DGL - Facilitated a discussion group.2003 to 2004 - Discussion Group Team Leader - Met with a team of six to seven discussion group leaders monthly to provide training.2004 to 2007 - MOPPETS Team Leader - Organized volunteers for six classrooms of preschoolers. Taught christian education classes to early elementary groups from Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhatten (New York). Mont Lawn Camp is located in the hills of Poconos, PA near Bushkill Falls.

Conducted five day back yard clubs in various neighborhoods throughout inner city Baltimore which included Bible and missionary stories, memory verses, songs, games, and snacks. Also camp counseling for one week.

Organized fun youth group events such as live nativity, Halloween alternative night, picnics, and other outings. Planned weekly meetings which included preparing devotionals. Initiated fundraising events such as spaghetti dinners, car washes, bake sales, flea market to raise funds so the teens could go to camp every summer for a week. The church was very small, so they allowed the youth under the supervision of the pastor to make decisions and engage in ministry. This is where my passion for outreach began.
