- Working with farmers in and outside of NC to donate excess produce to FBCENC's 34 county service area. - Organizing transportation logistics for loads to six branches, including working with internal trucking, commercial trucking, Feeding America's Meal Connect platform, etc. - Finding creative ways to say yes to excess produce that has no other market, including sorting produce with shrinkage and bagging binned loads. This both feeds our neighbors and limits food waste in landfills.- Managing a budget with funds from federal, state and local programs

I served as a consultant for two local businesses. For the first business, I created a review of Life Cycle Analyses (LCAs) for an app-based coffee mug deposit service and measured the environmental impact of the service’s 16oz beverage container in terms of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) consumed. The second consultancy focused on the legal process to move BC hops growers to an agricultural co-op model. I created a report outlining the pros and cons of co-ops, as well as how profits would be split between members.

As a member of the FRN Program Team, I managed FRN’s data sources and pulled information for grants, annual reports, and communications with stakeholders. I presented on this data when needed and served as project lead on three grants, awards totaling $30,000. In this role, I evaluated the effect of the non-profit’s programs and made data-based recommendations on how to improve. Lastly, I served on a technology focus group to create new data sources and organize existing information into interactive dashboards.

In this role, I led a team of four to plan sustainability events at the UVM student center, and reached 40-100 students per educational event. I independently organized 2019 Earth Week event, such as the Keynote speech and an ‘ideathon’ to limit UVM’s waste output with a $400 prize. Additionally, throughout my undergraduate degree program, I advanced through three EcoRep positions with increasing responsibility.
