Arq Group rebranded as Webcental Group following the divestment of the enterprise services division.The renamed Webcentral Group entered into a Scheme of Arrangement with web.com, Inc., in June 2020 which was terminated following receipt of a superior proposal from 5G Networks (ASX:5GN). Supported business through an off-market takeover bid by 5GN, which offer closed in early November 2020.

Melbourne IT rebranded to become Arq Group.Supported business through rebrand and subsequent divestment of TPP Wholesale business to Centralnic (LSE:CNIC) in August 2019 which included a two year transitional services agreement.Designed and undertook major restructure of the business to enable sale of the Enterprise Services business and Arq Group brand to Quadrant Private Equity in March 2020 which included a year-long transitional services agreement, working across both business for the first 6 months of the transition.

Lead the legal team through a time of change following divestment of EMEA DBS business and subsequent rapid acquisitions of Netregistry, Web Marketing Experts, Outware Mobile and Infoready and divestment of international domain reseller business.Management of the full suite of in-house legal tasks including supervising and negotiating all legal matters on behalf of the business including product and services vendor agreements for software, hardware, professional services; customer contracts for supply of professional services, cloud, mobile app and data analytics services; drafting of online standard form service terms; negotiating and drafting strategic partnership contracts; management of customer disputes; oversight of marketing and advertising legal compliance; regulatory compliance; employment matters.

I joined the Melbourne IT legal team following its acquisition of WebCentral. In this role, I was responsible for all legal matters concerning the enterprise services division which provided data centre, cloud and managed services as well as the For The Record (FTR) court reporting hardware and services division. These responsibilities included negotiating client contracts, responding to RFPs and other tenders, negotiating supplier contracts for hardware, software as well as regulatory compliance issues associated with operating data centres. I also supported the wider business in regulatory compliance, employment matters and the office of Company Secretary. Latterly, with the wider team I supported the Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services (DBS) division which had international offices through EMEA. My work involved negotiation of contracts with international clients.

Was seconded to WebCentral and subsequently transitioned to a permanent role supporting the General Counsel and Company Secretary. I worked across the entire in-house legal function which included customer contract negotiation, customer disputes, supplier contract and other procurement activity, trade mark and employee issues.
