Già Addetto Stampa al Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, ha lavorato come Digital Communication Adviser alla Rappresentanza Italiana presso le Nazioni Unite a New York. Da gennaio 2023 è Direttore Responsabile della rivista TocTocSardegna. È membro del Centro Studi Criminalità e Giustizia. Docente di geopolitica per enti e istituzioni pubbliche e private, collabora con associazioni e ONG nello sviluppo del pensiero critico in ambito politica estera e relazioni internazionali. Ha curato dal 2019 al 2023 la rubrica “Notizia del giorno” per eastwest - rivista di geopolitica. 🇬🇧 Matteo Meloni is an Italian journalist specialized in geopolitics and foreign affairs. Former Press Officer at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome, he managed the communication of the Vice Minister in the second half of 2019, handling institutional social media accounts and developing the digital diplomacy. During the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York, he worked for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as Digital Communication Adviser at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN. He recently assumed the role of editor-in-chief of TocToc Sardegna, a local news website that offers original and on-the-point perspectives for younger generations. He is member of the research center Criminalità e Giustizia. From 2019 to 2023 he managed the column “News of the day” for the geopolitical review eastwest, covering daily updates on the ongoing international relations. Matteo Meloni is speaker and panelist at foreign affairs events organized by universities, institutions and associations and is often hosted in live tv shows on Italian news channels and social media. In 2015 he obtained a Master’s Degree in Communication for International Relations at the IULM University in Milan; in 2013 he earned a Master’s Degree in Political and International Studies at the University of Cagliari.
