I was born in South Africa and stepped onto a plane to bring me to a new life in Toronto, Canada in 1999. It took me 38 years to figure out what I wanted to be when I grow up. Now I love what I do and do what I love. I uncover stories hiding in plain view, but they are remarkable nonetheless. I believe that everyone has a story to tell…and sometimes truth really is stranger than fiction. These are the things I write about.I was an editorial contributor and press liaison for Sport In Aurora Magazine, was a member of the Richmond Hill now dissolved Liberal’s COMM links group. I am currently a communications and PR assistant for a Canadian Non-profit Medical Organization. For the YRMG, I wrote guest columns and articles on issues pertaining to the community. For years I wrote a monthly column called Back Porch Visit for the community of Gormley, Ontario. I am also a freelance ghostwriter and have worked with diverse subject matter. I have contributed articles for various publications such as, Faith Today, Christian Week and InBetween Magazine.I was the Biographer for the 2015 - 2016 "Portraits of Giving". I love to tell these inspiring stories about giving back, based on each participant's individual story. I have greatly enjoyed my role as Biographer and Inductee Liaison for the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame from 2015 - 2017. And then transitioned to work solely on the induction video montages with Khamp Media for the induction dinner ceremonies. 2018 - 2019.I am a member of The Word Guild. The book I co-authored was published in Spring 2016 by Judson Press. "As the Ink Flows. Devotions to Inspire Christian Writers and Speakers" Contributor to the "Christmas With Hot Apple Cider" anthology in 2017. My fiction debut, A Promise to Keep, came out in 2020.
