It is my experience that a lot of people who dream about success only envision and strategize for their own. My belief is my success will come from the success of the business I work for. Contributing to the success of your peers, your supervisors, and your business is what receives the most recognition. It is too small to think only of yourself, even the most efficient, hard worker can only do so much. I became the youngest Sales & Inventory manager in the company, and was cross trained in every department. I cleared overstock by 90% in three months, and increased sales by 15% in my department in six months.I received a job offer to work from home managing dialer systems. I was able to help them grow their business by creating a more efficient strategy, creating training processes, as well as taking on some managerial tasks so the owner could focus on expanding. When I decided to leave, I was offered ownership of the business as an incentive to stay, but declined.My biggest struggle in my career was owning a small business during COVID. My business we creates software systems that help small businesses run more efficiently. We survived COVID, but it was unsustainable.
