I'm a former Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyst who pivoted towards a career in the outdoor industry while on a hiatus during the pandemic. I have combined my high-energy personality, passion for the outdoors, and technical background to support the mountain biking community in Washington. My first industry role was to coordinate the safety of youth participants at race events across the state. I visited venues to determine the team village location and mapped out the racecourse routes. During event weekends, I managed 25-30 safety volunteers to ensure our athletes safely traversed racecourses up to 6 miles in length. I used mobile GIS tools to determine where to place volunteers along the route. While back at my home office, I created maps, crunched data, and supported outreach efforts. I still serve as a volunteer mountain bike coach for the organization teaching young athletes the skills they need to progress in the sport.After moving to North Bend, WA in the summer of 2024, I decided to pursue an opportunity closer to home and accepted a role at The Line Bicycle Experience. I currently support the retail, rental, and events aspect of the business.
