1. Occupational Health and Safety1.1 Conducts incident/accident investigations and prepare reports when required.1.2 Responsible for OSH gap analysis in preparation of QMS implementation1.3 Conducts OSH operational inspections in premises around the town.1.4 Ensure compliance through education, advice and enforcement, advise on health and safety issues in relation to new buildings, developments and/ any other related matters.2. Inspections 4.1 Carry proactive and reactive inspections and investigations as allocated in all areas of Environmental Health, reviews inspection procedures.4.2 Carry out food hygiene and food standards inspections as well as inspections of food outlets.5. Strategic Leadership and Management5.1 Conduct general administrative duties to ensure synergy of activities5.2 Make inputs to inform the Municipal Integrated Development Plan5.3 Compiles monthly reports for the area of responsibility5.4 Assist in formulating Unit Budget6. Environment 6.1 Draft and prepare Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Initial Environmental Evaluation (IEE) and Comprehensive Mitigation Plans6.2 Provide technical assistance on environmental matters to construction personnel and assisting in emergency situations to minimize adverse environmental effects.6.3 Site monitoring to contractors to achieve compliance with the Comprehensive Mitigation Plan (CMP)
