Project: Data Centre Relocation- Plan and design infrastructure of critical network and server infrastructure within limited time frame.- Execute the plan ensuring minimal disruptions to normal business operations.Server Virtualization (VMWare)- Server provisioning and resource planning- ESX hosts, vCentre, vMotion, Hyper-V setup- Horizon View (VDI) implementation for Asia Pacific RegionServer Administration (Windows)- Server administration, including management of Active Directory, Exchange server, DHCP, DNS servers and print servers. - Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 Administration and MSSQL 2012 configuration for Asia Pacific Region.Storage (NetApp)- Storage management, including file sharing and backup configurations.- Storage provisioning and resource planning to cater to business requirements for Asia Pacific RegionL2, L3 Network (Brocade, DCN, Fortinet, Palo Alto)- L2 switch setup and configuration- Firewall review and managementGlobal ServiceDesk Lead for Asia Pacific Region- Coordinate with counterparts in other regions, including Japan, Korea, India and Dubai, to align to HQ directives and plan for upgrades and implementations.

- IT System Administration- Supports whole suite of HP Overview applications.- Supports SAN infrastructure.- Provide 1st and 2nd level support on network, server and applications which includes Windows 2003 server, Windows 2008 servers, Oracle, HP-UX, Linux- Ensure OS, security and anti-virus patches are updated on a timely basis- Supports backup/restore activities with HP Data Protector- Plan routine Data Centre activities such as schedule down time for network/UPS/electrical upgrades and assist Data Centre Manager (DCM) to coordinate/liaise with respective system/network owners.- Assist Data Centre Manager to plan and document for continuous improvement to the Data Centre and Network Operating Centre processes.- Assist Security Management Representative to maintain and improve ISO27001 processes and coordinate the ISO27001 workplan.- Keep documents of all systems up-to-date

- Installs VMware ESXi, managing server resources and allocation for each virtual machine.- Works with Linux platform (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat)- Installation and configuration of KeepaliveD, maintaining service uptime using 2 servers and NAS.- Maintains the Domain Controller and Terminal Services (Windows Server 2008)- Manages the active directory, file sharing services and maintains security for individual groups (Windows Server 2003 and 2008)- Manage print servers on Windows Server 2008- Creates group policies - Manages the company's firewall (Untangle), including port forwarding, VPN, web filter, firewall rules etc. - Maintains and monitors the network traffic and improvise on current traffic control (QoS)- Supports the maintenance, repair and order of computer hardware and software- Troubleshooting of common computer issues- Handles call directory within company (VoIP)- Research and customize server hardware requirements based on company and client’s needs- Setting up of servers and various equipments for software testing- Creating scripts for installation of Oracle 11G R2 on CentOS 6- Manages the Zimbra Email Server- Creates and maintains email accounts, including mail account size limits, forwarding and distribution lists.- Migrates Zimbra Email Server from CentOS 5 to CentOS 6- Creates scripts for onsite and offsite backup for Linux Servers (Redhat, CentOS, OpenSUSE)- Creates automated backups from Windows Servers to NAS.- Does testing of new equipments and provides informative feedback - Implements upgrades of servers whenever necessary.- Plans and implements the WAN/LAN setup for the new office location
