I am inspired to be a part of people's professional development journey. As a John Maxwell certified coach, I have ccollaborated with individuals and organization to explore viable alternatives to helping them get to the next level of excellence in their professional careers.For nearly my entire adult life, I've either served as a military active duty member or a federal civial servant coaching and training managers for their elevation to the next level of leadership. I have had the privilege of preparing future leaders while serving as a classroom instructor teaching leadership courses as well as writing leadership curriculum. As a classroom instructor, I taught advanced communications and management courses to active duty, military reserve and guard, and Department of Defense civilian managers. I also had the pleasure of being an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix.Today, I'm a facilitator with the Lionheart HR group; a group offering Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training by way of a course called "Another Seat At The Table 2.0." My participation with this group has been enormously rewarding as we help clients experience excellence through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.Needless to say, I have positively impacted the lives of thousands of military and civilian leaders across the spectrum of the Federal Government, and I am ready to partner with companies and organizations so they too can experience the rewards of leveling up!

Performed as principal manager for business and budget-related functions by providing day-to-day oversight of administrative, acquisition, and financial functions. Advised senior leaders on the effectiveness of continuous improvement and efficiency of the Program Office's business operations. A key factor in my role was to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to explore viable alternatives to efficiently meet client/customer needs geared to improve the overall quality of services of the organization.Selected for the President's Management Council (PMC) Interagency Rotation Program where I performed on a six-month detail at Headquarters, National Aerospace Space Administration (NASA) in Washington, DC. In this role, I designed NASA’s Senior Executive Service (SES) Onboarding Program which mapped interim milestones for newly hired scientists and engineers filling SES positions. The program allowed new SES to be able to quickly assimilate into the NASA culture while enhancing their interaction with peers, direct reports, supervisors, and senior leaders. Most notable in the program's design was the ability for senior management to gauge the new senior executives' performance, development progress, and organizational engagement during their 12-month probationary period.

As a program management specialist in the career field management office, I developed and executed organizational strategies, plans, and procedures; identified training and professional development programs; and performed workforce analysis for the Air Force CIO career professional Communications and Information (C&I) civilian workforce. I had daily collaborations with the Air Force Personnel Center's staff to coordinate policy issues involving the C&I civilian workforce and performed as a classroom instructor teaching advanced C&I management training to Air Force active duty, Reserve, and Guard C&I military and DoD civilian managers. The most rewarding part of this job was my opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations to Air Force leaders on training effectiveness and the direction of the Air Force Enterprise Information Management/Records Management career path.As IT Project Manager for the Air Force Departmental Publishing Office (AFDPO), I managed a team responsible for the design and implementation of the Air Force Information Management Publishing Tool (AFIMPT). The team I led provided beta testing for the tool and was responsible for providing data-driven feedback that reflected the tool's impact on the efficiency of established Air Force publishing programs. I also developed, interpreted, and implemented programs, policies and procedures that paved the way for annual planning, programming, and budget formulations. I also conducted an analysis for AFDPO that gauged the impact of merging multiple U.S. military services publications and forms using Joint Base Memorandums of Agreement which supported the Department of Defense’s Joint Base concept.

I participated as a member of the Air Force Enterprise Information Management Action Team where I managed the IM career field’s community of practice (CoP) website that facilitated Air Force-wide collaboration on critical force development initiatives. I also teamed with other C&I Career Field Managers (CFMs) to devise an up-to-date career field restructuring plan based on a sustainable force model that focused on warfighter needs for the next decade.I also was a classroom instructor where I taught advanced C&I management-level training to Air Force Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve military and DoD civilian managers. As an instructor, I was able to collect feedback from attendees and provide much-needed recommendations to CFMs and agency executive leaders on training and the direction of Enterprise Information Management/Records Management career field issues. My duties also allowed me to lead a team responsible for assessing and rewriting the Air Force Computer System Administrator (CSA) exportable course. As lead of a team of nine subject matter experts, I was able to facilitate a revision of the CSA Air Force Job Qualification Standard that assured 100% task coverage outlined in the CSA Career Field Education and Training Plan.

I was responsible for supervising and providing instructional training, evaluation, and professional development for 21 active-duty Air Force instructors. As such, I conducted recurring in-service training, substituted as a classroom instructor when necessary, and maintained proficiency in educational methodologies. I was also very instrumental in assisting with the development of institutional policies and procedures on matters of instruction in all areas of the curriculum. My greatest contribution to the career field was my design of a 9-month instructor training plan which outlined training milestones and pinpointed training goals for Air Force classroom instructors. As a training manager, I researched, designed, developed, and validated the Professional Military Education (PME) curriculum to prepare US Air Force airmen for increased supervisory and leadership responsibilities. My expertise with the instructional design’s ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) allowed me to train a team of course designers who in turn were responsible for writing PME course curricula taught in Air Force classrooms.

As Associate Registrar for the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), I represented the Air Force at meetings sponsored by degree-granting higher education accrediting bodies. The objective of my attendance was to develop and improve working relationships with non-military colleges and universities across the country. I also planned, organized, and directed activities of the CCAF Admissions Services and Records departments. In this role, I drafted policies, procedures, and instructions for enrollment, record tracking, maintenance, and storage of 2.2 million academic records.Also, as supervisor of support service degree programs, I evaluated more than 90,000 college-level transcripts; evaluated technical Air Force training courses civilian college credit; and awarded nearly 12,000 CCAF Associate of Applied Science degrees annually.
