I created a custom study program that helped me graduate with straight As and as one of the best candidates in my province. I am a #leader in the field of digital marketing, specifically, SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I discovered content writing at the university and went on to master the skill to the highest level. As a result, I was hired by global clients to help them improve their online presence through SEO-optimized content. I am a #leader in the field Telecommunications Engineering. I have worked for the leading telecom companies, namely Airtel Kenya and Nokia Networks. Through #upskilling, I took the initiative to learn networking through the Cisco Certification. This allowed me to play a key role in the installation and configuration of 4G systems at Airtel Kenya. I am a #leader in the area of community development through entrepreneurship. I founded MELMAX FARM FRESH in 2018 grow chili peppers for the export market. The organization employed 30+ youth to perform various duties at the farm. Because of our community impact, I won several awards such as selection for the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship and recognition as a #YouthAgriChampion and Elevating the Voice of Women in Agriculture (EVWA) Changemaker by the Ban Ki Moon Center for Global Citizens. My passion for coaching stems from the profound impact of mentors in my life and I am obliged to continue the #chain of #mentorship. My father taught me how to build strategic relationships through offering value and pursuing excellence in every assignment. My mother, a selfless giver, instilled in me that giving is living. Richard Muigai, my team lead at Nokia Networks taught me how to serve with humility. Credo, my colleague at Baobab has taught me about teamwork and essence of collaboration. Last but not least, the late Dr. Myles Munroe inspired me to refine my gifts because that’s what makes space for you in the world. I am who I am today because others have invested in me.
