I have recently relocated to North Kansas City from Minnesota to be closer to our daughter and her family. I am looking for a full time position that allows me to utilize my background, experiences and skills.I have an extensive background in education both in the classroom and in administration. As an instructor I worked to design a K-12 resource room for special needs students and developed curriculum and taught life skills, communication skills and work experience. I was reassigned to assist our district complete consolidation with a neighboring school. This assignment became a permanent position and I was named operations director responsible for the transportation, food service and maintenance departments. I continued my duties as community education director from my original hire through consolidation until I relocated. I initiated, implemented and managed a variety of programs and activities for preschool through adults.I am a mature, dedicated, task orientated and creative employee. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.I hope to find employment that allows me to use my leadership skills to work with people and create and manage programs.Specialties: My experiences have provided opportunities for me to become competent in supervision(recruitment, hiring, training, and performance), human resources(duties, benefits, contracts, policies, regulations, worker's compensation and unemployment) and budgeting(purchasing, contracts, salaries, fees and charges, goal setting and fund raising).
