Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA) brokers and manages U.S. Army institutional training solutions for international military students authorized and funded by Security Cooperation and select Building Partner Capacity programs in order to provide our international partners with the skills, knowledge, and understanding that leads to enhanced relationships, cooperation and shared security efforts. I am a government civilian, currently work with countries in the CENTCOM area of responsibility.

Joint Staff Suffolk Complex

I serve as a member of an NGTS team supporting the JS J7. The Land Threat Planner/Simulation Operator and Controller works in the Opposing Forces (OPFOR) section of the Operations Task Order. We use and understand tactics, techniques, and procedures and control opposing and situational forces in computer assisted joint training exercises. Current simulations include the Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM), Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF), Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS), and JCATS Low Overhead Driver (JLOD). I assist in the accomplishment of training objectives for supported events by my knowledge in the areas of the exercise control group, such as: scenario, event operational environment, Master Scenario Event List (MSEL), and Threat Concept of Operations. Conducts research on potential adversarial nation-states, non-state actors and other organizations posing a possible threat for U.S. and coalition partners.

Ft. Eustis, Va

Provide oversight of the development of scenarios used in experiments, studies and wargames for the Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC). Serve as a key technical advisor to executive leadership and provide guidance on national and Department of Defense planning documents and strategic trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate joint interdependent concepts and solutions to strategic, operational, and tactical challenges confronting the U.S. Army today and out to 2028 and beyond. Review national, Department of Defense (DoD), joint, and service strategy and planning documents, and strategic trends.

King Khalid Military City, Saudi Arabia

Served as Armor Advisor to the Royal Saudi Land Forces Officers, provided expert advice to U.S. and Foreign Senior Military Officials. Provided guidance in the areas of policies, training, leader development, organization, and workforce planning. Provided senior level representation in meetings with key internal and external stakeholders. Acted as an intermediary to solve significant or controversial issues, problems and disagreements. Recommended future material requirements and proper integration of Armor vehicles through Foreign Military Sales program. Ensured armor support was part of the Foreign Military Sales program.

Camp Casey, S. Korea

Managed operational requirements to support U.S. Army operations within the Korean Peninsula. Directed operations team of 35 with oversight for performance management, workflow, delegation of responsibilities, and evaluations. Worked on operational planning teams for units rotating to Korea and two Korean live fire training demonstrations. Collaborated with Senior Operations Manager to plan and develop critical agency missions. Ensured more than 600 personnel were current and trained to standard on all Army required task to fight and win under unified land operations.

Shaw Air Force Base, Sc

Served as Senior Exercise Planner for three Top Secret-SCI level exercises. Maintained accountability for actions that support planning, development and execution of intricate and complex training in support of U.S. National Military Strategy and regional contingency requirements. Worked on multiple operational planning teams to solve strategic issues. Assisted systematically and continually in the development and implementation of effective, reliable, long-range exercise plans.

Fort Carson, Co

Led team of 95 with accountability for providing combat operations support. Advised, mentored, and instructed personnel on combat operational processes and procedures during deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Demonstrated exceptional analytical planning skills and tactical proficiency to determine operational requirements. Planned and executed patrols in support of combat operations. Effectively managed resources to maintain optimal levels of readiness.
