Responsible for health and safety of all activities on SSL FS-1300, LMC-A2100A and Boeing 702SP Satellites. Supports other engineers as required as a back-up engineer/peer-reviewer. Prepares daily operations plan required to operate the satellites. Prepares and reviews procedures utilizing spacecraft dynamic simulators. Prepares maneuver procedures to execute flight dynamics plans. Monitors procedures as needed. Trends and analyses spacecraft telemetry to monitor spacecraft health. First on-call responders for anomalous conditions. Analyzes anomalies to direct immediate responses that are beyond procedures. Prepares satellite health/status reports inputs. Supports training of new Satellite controllers. On-Call 24x7x365 for support.Responsible for maintaining the orbit their designated spacecraft. Supports other analysts as required as a back-up analyst/peer-reviewer. Prepares maneuver plans for stationkeeping burns. Analyzes ranging data and prepares Maneuver Reconstructions and Orbit Determinations. Maintains fuel budgets and optimizes fuel use. Coordinates and analyses orbital changes. Utilizes orbit data to prepare Collision Avoidance Plans as needed. Responsible for procedures generation, scripting, programming and validation and automation.

Monitors and controls SSL FS-1300, LMC-A2100A and Boeing 702SP satellites on 24x7x365 basis, using real-time control systems. Executes procedures per the daily control plan. Responds to anomalous conditions per established procedures. Executes payloads changes are requested by the TAC. Tests and verifies procedures utilizing spacecraft dynamic simulators. Prepares shift reports, out of limit reports, and anomaly reports as needed. Supports S/ engineers as needed. Operates in rotating shifts with three control "seats".
