Senior Data Center Operations Specialist
Current- Provide Level 2 server software support on customer problems reported via the helpdesk. This support includes Unix/Solaris and Windows 2K/NT.
- Provide support and assist SunGard eSourcing level 3 OS and DBA administrators; provide smart eyes and hands to remote support staff.
- Install server OS according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs.
- Configure network interface cards.
- Install Backup software client and scheduler per documented procedures for managed customers.
- Assist the NOC/NMC/helpdesk with customer server/network monitoring and connectivity issues utilizing the monitoring tools specific to the data center site.
