My Role And Responsibilities:- Manage the team, leadership in line with ASML leadership framework, proper staffing of the group and to create a productive working environment to ensure the desired level of drive and flexibility. - Planning/Output: managing and implementation of production support, assure the agreed quality, and the guarantee of delivery (reliability of delivery). Solving problems and prioritizing. - Analysis and reporting: directing the process of analyzing the production support processes on effectiveness and efficiency, in order to: deliver management information, KPI, indicate structural problems, enhance the predictability of problems and how to avoid them.- Improvement of the department: ensure proposing and attuning of improvements. Lead “4C” improvement projects, facilitating in LEAN deployment and mindset.

Lead, develop and inspire a team consisting of different competencies assuring cooperation within and between LAB execution/LAB TS/ LAB PE and other relevant departments. Managing the production process in order to realize the planned production targets and objectives in terms of customer satisfaction, delivery, quality and efficiency/costs.

My job is to design, maintain and adapt to changed output requirements and to optimize production processes. Next to this I develop and apply methods of measuring the performance of the production process. This comes down to:• Initiate and lead improvement projects. • Analyzing the production process and point out structural problems and bottlenecks, work out suggestions for improvements and initiate the implementation, often in close cooperation with the surrounded departments as Development, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and Customer Support.• Contribute to the solution of complex faults in the product itself or in the test tooling (troubleshooting in high pressure environment).• Bring my knowledge to bear on (new) product development projects, in order to foresee production problems in the design phase and in order to improve the use / reparability of the product and test design.• Maintaining operating instructions, process flow charts and routings.

My job was to analyze and optimize the current workflow in the production. This started with writing work instructions and ended with creating / implementing new production routings in the factory. With a small group of engineers we have managed to create a new, lean, production layout.

Part of the World Class Performance / LEAN minor at the HAN Lean – QRM Centrum where I received my Six Sigma Green belt certificate. With a group of six students, placed at 6 different suppliers, our goal was to shorten the time to market of Agrifac (Manufacturer of agricultural machinery).
