My name is Melvin and I want to get real and vulnerable with you. I always had big dreams but I got in my own way for so many years. Do you know the saying: "You don't rise to the level of your goals, but you fall to the level of your systems?"My systems, my habits, my (limiting) beliefs, my parts, were not always functional and resourceful. I did the best I could, unfortunately I did not know any better. I tried setting goals and would work on them for a little while until the lack of trust in myself, the disbelief, the anxiety and the procrastination would take over.I used to call myself introverted and shy, but really, I was scared, anxious and depressed.I did not know what I wanted, what I enjoyed doing and did not have any goals. In reality, I was disconnected from my wants, needs and desires.I called myself open-minded and easy going, but I was really a people pleaser and didn't dare to speak my mind because potential confrontation would make me feel unsafe.I could not wait for the weekend to start to get drunk, so I started the Monday with a few beers. Such a sad life to live.I have fully turned my life around and I am proud of that!Melvin Sjerps Coaching is a place for men to come and level up in their lives.I work from the belief that we create our life with the thoughts, beliefs, and voices we often experience.
