Quality Assurance Division(UMTS Test Engineer)- Set up test equipment and protocol analyzers such as Agilent Advisor, ASKA, MT Tool for analyzing the ATM Layer, Layer 3 Messages and NBAP procedure messages of the UTRAN System.- Execute test cases on call processing and O&M domain of the UTRAN system. Test cases on Adaptive Multi Rate(AMR), Packet and User Digital Interface(UDI). - Handles the 1353 ALCATEL Monitoring System for SDH Radio equipment 9681LH,9400LX/UX and Monitoring equipment 1322 NXSRL.- Handles the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the whole MOTOROLA M900 / ALCATEL A900 / NOKIA Base Station Subsystem (BSS) of the GSM Cellular Network of GLOBE TELECOM and ISLACOM.- Perform necessary routine checks of the GSM network.- Generates Performance Management (Traffic) reports of the network that serves as reference for system upgrading and maintenance.- Add, modify, display, and delete database parameters that determines the operation characteristics of the network elements /cell sites. - Initiate uploads and downloads of network elements operating software. - Back-up or download configuration databases for the different network elements.- Assists the Radio Planning Department in frequency planning, neighbor and source cell analysis, and hand-over and power relationships.- Change the status of any device in the network using fault handling procedures. - Testing of E1(2.048 Mbps) links for BTS integration in coordination to the BSS transmission.- Implements frequency changes to the DRI/DRCU/TRX whenever the need arises due to the co-channel and adjacent channel interference.- Performs on-line channel and cell configuration/reconfiguration.- Maintaining the quality of service to customers/users of the GSM Network by monitoring the health of all equipments (BTS to XCDR) as well as handling and troubleshooting the alarms generated by the network elements.- Perform System Administration and operations and maintenance of the Motorola/Alcatel OMC-R Systems and SunSparc Workstations and also, the Motorola Codex Packet Switch and Multiplexer.
