• Critical Care April 2016-March 2018: Utilize the nursing process to assess and intervene in critically ill patients. Coordinate patient care through collaboration with intensivists, dietitians, case manages, and therapies. Responsible for managing medications including vasopressors, care of ventilated patients, and prevention strategies for CAUTI, VAP, and skin breakdown. Assist in procedures including line placements, thoracentesis, bronchoscopies, and intubations. Assess patient pain levels and sedation requirements. Effectively navigate and document patient information on EPIC charting system. Post procedure care for stent placement, pacemaker placements, and pre/post CABG patients following ICU.
