The decision to Liquidate Sanctum Housing Cic was a challenging one, and its repercussions extended beyond my professional life, deeply impacting me on a personal level. Sanctum was not just an organisation to me; it was a cause I wholeheartedly believed in and was profoundly dedicated to. I joined thumbs up as the design manager which was a similar role to Santok but with more emphasis on packaging , POS and CDTUdesign aswel as exhibition organisation and merchandising at certain points of the year.While at Thumbs Up i have produced packaging for a number of big companies such as Primark, Debenhams, Easy Jet, BritishAirways, Urban Outfitters, Menkind, Red5 and Merlin Entertainment.Duties:- Producing graphical content for page layouts- Packaging design and concepts- Manual layout and designs- Catalogue layout and design- Advertising designs- Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to colleagues and other managers- Managing and producing projects- Keeping up to date with new software, techniques and industry trends.

In 2011 I was given the opportunity to relocate to china and set up this newly established business. I over saw and organised everythingfrom the location and construction of the office to the hiring of the staff.As the office manager i project managed everyone’s time and duties to oversee the design and manufacture of the handsets, i wasinvolved in every step of the process.Duties:- The initial 2D designs of the handset- 3D renderings- UI designs- String and menu tree layout and checking- T1 through to T 4 Prototypes- Logo placement on device- Packaging design- Manual / user guide layout, design and checking- QC of products & packaging- System and software checking

Junior designer, working within the company to Plan and implement ideas in rebranding packaging in order to increase sales.I was able to Organise exhibitions in order to help the company promote their products which in turn helped to promote and brandtheir products into a number of well established stores, such as O2 Ireland, Vodafone, Orange, Comet, Currys, and Halfords.Duites:- Managing, and producing design projects- Designing and creating marketing material on a range of products through exhibitions and meetings.- Ensuring consistent sales with clients both in the UK and internationally.- Creating original art work for short and long term projects- Designing pitches and presentation for sales teams.After a very successful year i was then promoted to Middle weight designer of which i stayed for a further year and eventually movedonto a higher position within the company being head of design and affiliate manager.
