With 14 years of experience in information technology, I have had the privilege of working in various roles and projects that have refined my skills in project management, strategic thinking, engagement and negotiation, team and performance management, IT operations management, risk management , stakeholder management as well as budget management. I have grown to thrive in dynamic environments where agility and innovation are key. My strengths include planning and organising, good communication, strategic thinking, empathy, honesty, leadership and resilience.My current role as Global technology and digital team lead for World Vision Zimbabwe has awarded me the opportunity to further strengthen and grow these skills. My key achievements in this role include effective team management and collaboration, implementation of Box document management system increasing collaboration across teams as well as strengthening organization wide data retention, rollout of the Item Tracking system which tracks gifts in kind donations from the time they are shipped from our support offices to the time the gifts are distributed to families and children in the community and lastly the launch of the “IT Garage Campaign”, the first ever campaign of its kind to provide basic servicing of IT equipment in collaboration with our local service providers at no cost to the organisation.I am constantly seeking for new challenges and opportunities to learn, grow and make positive impact. Global Technology And Digital Team Lead
My role is to provide IT leadership for World Vision Zimbabwe. This entails leading a team of seven (7) people and together we drive digital dexterity and transformation initiatives across the organisation. Key accomplishments include:* Team stability and collaboration* Successful implementation of systems (Box and Item tracking System) * Launching of the first ever customer service campaign called the "IT Garage" where the team in collaboration with our local service providers conducted basic servicing of all our IT equipment (laptops, desktops, printers, photocopiers etc)
